Daniel McFarlane was born in Houston, Texas, where he currently lives and works. He graduated with an undergraduate studio degree from Sam Houston State University and was awarded an Alumni Fellow at the University of Florida where he completed an MFA in painting/drawing. He was an artist-in-residence at Lawndale Art Center. McFarlane’s paintings have been exhibited nationally and featured in New American Paintings artist book and blog.
